Randy Garcia, CPA

Randy has been a Shareholder with HM&M since January 2020. His days are usually filled with tax compliance and tax consulting, primarily in his focus area of oil & gas. He also acts as a mentor to younger staff and is active on multiple Firm committees. While Randy was in graduate school, he was an intern for a multi-cultural marketing Firm, working in the accounting and account service departments. At the University of Dallas, Randy’s studies were guided by the University’s liberal arts education dedicated to the pursuit of wisdom, of truth, and of virtue. These core values are in alignment with the CPA profession, which is founded on ethics and the trust of the public. Out of the office, you’ll likely find Randy watching a game (or two, or three, or four) as he is a major sports fan. Nothing brings him more joy than spending time with his wife and four young children. Randy was named a 2018 Rising Star by the Texas Society of CPAs.
