Pearl Balsara

Pearl began working with HM&M in January 2005. In her time at the firm she has been involved in various projects such as tax compliance, tax legislation analysis, tax research, financial and tax reporting services for individuals and corporations including, but not limited to income tax returns, gift tax returns, trust returns, pension and welfare benefit returns, tax-exempt organization returns among others. She has been an instructor for webinars at HM&M and outside of the firm as well. In 2021 Pearl earned the AICPA and ICMA U.S. International Tax: Core Concepts badge. The achievement of this badge demonstrate knowledge of core international tax concepts, including entity classifications and different forms of operating a business in a foreign country. Badge earners apply knowledge to global tax system transactions. These candidates recall key impacts of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on international tax transactions such as transfer pricing, income sourcing, and foreign tax credits. Pearl is an incredible resource to her clients.

Pearl is a member of HM&M’s COVID-19 task force and is currently assisting clients with Paycheck Protection Program Loan compliance and Employee Retention Credit consulting.
