The Role:

As a CAAS Supervisory Senior Accountant, you will have the opportunity to gain experience, exposure, and rewards that fulfill your purpose and offer flexibility to balance your work and personal life.  In this position you will perform a wide variety of business and client services and play a key role in providing expert financial and accounting solutions to our clients. We seek a high-performing Supervisory Senior who will maintain their assigned workload in an efficient, effective, and timely manner while adhering to professional standards. Supervisory Seniors will also provide guidance, coaching, and leadership to others, as needed.

What you’ll do:

  • Possess a solid understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ability to apply accounting standards to financial statements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Drive and oversee projects from start to finish, deliver on time with exceptional quality.
  • Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures and deliverables in compliance with GAAP
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, trend analysis, and performance metrics
  • Maintain general accounting systems to provide records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions
  • Create consolidated financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets
  • Engage in professional education/training sessions

What you bring:

  • Experience: 6+ years’ experience in public accounting or consulting field, preferred
  • Education/Certifications: Accounting Degree, CPA certification preferred but not required.
  • Tools: Experience with various accounting systems such as QuickBooks and Excel.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, research and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and staff. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
