Porchia has 15+ years of experience in public accounting advising clients in various industries, including manufacturing and distribution, health services, consumer products, and telecommunications service providers. She provides comprehensive federal and state tax compliance, planning and consulting services and specializing in corporate tax compliance and income tax provisions (ASC 740). She works closely with private equity groups and focuses on tax issues that arise with portfolio companies owned by private equity. She also assists clients with federal tax due diligence and matter-related structuring transactions.

She currently serves on the presidential advisory committee of Dallas/Fort Worth Alliance of Black Accounts. Additionally, Porchia is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA) and the American Institute of CPAs.
